About the event
Acting Through Song Workshop
In this workshop, participants will be guided through the process of bringing a song to life. Each participant will first perform their selected piece, after which Zachery Lockwood will collaborate with them through character work, exploration of the composer/lyricist’s intent, and sustainable techniques designed to add a whole new level of depth to their performance.
All participants and guests are invited to watch the workshop in its entirety and are encouraged to stay even after their individual session is complete. Watching others work through the process provides a valuable opportunity to observe different approaches and further develop their own performance skills.
